Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 11 October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 The Agreement

These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between the Client and Collins Corleone Pty Ltd trading as Corleone Cleaning Co. ("Corleone Cleaning Co.", "we", "us" or "our"). ABN: 53 691 755 432.

1.2 Application of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services booked directly with Corleone Cleaning Co., including bookings made through our:

  • (a) website or online booking system;
  • (b) telephone, SMS or email;
  • (c) social-media accounts;
  • (d) written quotations or invoices; or
  • (e) other authorised booking channels.

1.3 Client's Confirmation

By submitting or confirming a booking, paying for a booking in full at the time of booking (card bookings), accepting a quotation, or instructing us to commence a service, the Client confirms that they:

  • (a) have read and understood these Terms and Conditions;
  • (b) have had a reasonable opportunity to review them before booking;
  • (c) agree to be bound by them;
  • (d) have provided complete and accurate booking information; and
  • (e) have authority to arrange cleaning services for the property.

1.4 Bookings Made on Behalf of Others

If a person makes a booking on behalf of a property owner, tenant, business, family member or another person, the person making the booking confirms that they have authority to do so and accepts responsibility for providing the Client with these Terms and Conditions.

1.5 Provisional Appointments

A requested appointment is provisional until Corleone Cleaning Co. accepts the booking, has a valid payment method saved on file to secure the booking, and provides written confirmation. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee that the requested date, time or cleaner is available.

1.6 If You Do Not Agree

If the Client does not agree to these Terms and Conditions, they must not submit or confirm a booking or permit the service to commence.

1.7 Inconsistency With a Quotation or Confirmation

If there is an inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and a specific written quotation or booking confirmation, the specific written quotation or booking confirmation will apply to the extent of that inconsistency.

2. Our Services, Specialist Services, Quotations and Pricing

2.1 Residential Cleaning Services

Corleone Cleaning Co. provides residential cleaning services, including:

  • (a) General Cleaning;
  • (b) Deep Cleaning;
  • (c) Move-in, Move-out and Bond Cleaning;
  • (d) recurring weekly, fortnightly or monthly cleaning;
  • (e) one-off cleaning;
  • (f) approved cleaning add-ons; and
  • (g) separately quoted specialist services.

2.2 Service Scope

The inclusions and exclusions for each service are determined by:

  • (a) the service package selected by the Client;
  • (b) the cleaning checklist applicable to that service;
  • (c) the written quotation;
  • (d) any add-ons selected by the Client; and
  • (e) the confirmed booking details.

A task is not included merely because it is commonly associated with residential cleaning. The Client should review the applicable service description, checklist, quotation and exclusions before confirming the booking.

2.3 Carpet, Rug and Upholstery Cleaning

Carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning may include professional steam cleaning, hot-water extraction, low-moisture cleaning or another method considered appropriate for the material and condition of the item.

Depending on the confirmed quotation, this service may be available for:

  • (a) fitted carpets;
  • (b) loose rugs;
  • (c) lounges and sofas;
  • (d) dining chairs;
  • (e) mattresses; and
  • (f) other suitable upholstered furnishings.

The appropriate cleaning method will depend on the item's material, manufacturer instructions, age, condition, colourfastness and level of soiling.

Stain treatment may be included where expressly stated in the quotation. However, Corleone Cleaning Co. does not guarantee the complete removal of permanent stains, dye transfer, bleaching, discolouration, odours, pet contamination, mould staining, wear, damage or deterioration.

Drying times are estimates and may be affected by humidity, ventilation, weather, fibre type and the level of treatment required. The Client must follow any ventilation, drying and aftercare instructions provided.

Carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning is quoted following inspection or assessment. The assessment may be conducted using photographs, video, information supplied by the Client or an on-site inspection.

The Client may request a quotation through our online quotation form: Request a Specialist Service Quote

2.4 Tile and Grout Cleaning

Tile and grout cleaning may include professional extraction, agitation, scrubbing and other appropriate cleaning methods for accessible tiled floors, walls and grout lines.

The service is intended to reduce embedded dirt, grease, soap residue, surface mould and discolouration where reasonably achievable through professional cleaning.

Results will depend on:

  • (a) the type and condition of the tiles and grout;
  • (b) the age and porosity of the surface;
  • (c) previous cleaning products or treatments;
  • (d) damaged, missing or deteriorated grout or sealant;
  • (e) permanent staining, mineral deposits or discolouration; and
  • (f) the presence of underlying moisture, mould or structural issues.

Tile and grout cleaning is not a repair, regrouting, resealing, restoration or professional mould-remediation service unless one of those services is expressly included in the quotation.

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not guarantee that cleaning will restore old, damaged or permanently discoloured tiles or grout to their original appearance.

Tile and grout cleaning is quoted following inspection or assessment. The Client may request a quotation through: Request a Specialist Service Quote

2.5 Pest-Control Services

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not provide pest-control services. Pest-control work, including flea treatments, is not included in any cleaning service. Clients requiring pest treatment should engage an appropriately licensed pest-management provider.

2.6 Specialist Providers

Carpet, upholstery, tile and grout and other specialist services may be performed by Corleone Cleaning Co. or by an appropriately qualified, licensed or insured subcontractor where applicable.

The identity of the service provider and any materially different service conditions will be disclosed where reasonably required before the booking is confirmed.

2.7 Paying for Your Booking

All bookings are paid in full at the time the booking is made, through our secure payment provider's payment page (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). The booking is confirmed once the payment is received.

Corleone Cleaning Co. accepts card payment only. Cash and other payment methods are not accepted.

The upfront payment process, recurring services, cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are set out in full in Clause 4.4 and Clause 5 of these Terms and Conditions.

2.8 Information Required for Quotations

Prices displayed online or provided before inspecting the property are based on the information supplied by the Client, including:

  • (a) the property type, size and layout;
  • (b) the number of bedrooms and bathrooms;
  • (c) the quantity, dimensions and type of items requiring treatment;
  • (d) the present condition and level of soiling or pest activity;
  • (e) the selected service and frequency;
  • (f) the estimated time, labour and equipment required;
  • (g) access and parking arrangements; and
  • (h) any requested add-ons or specialist treatments.

2.9 Client's Responsibility to Provide Accurate Information

The Client must provide complete and accurate information when requesting a quotation or booking a service.

Corleone Cleaning Co. may request:

  • (a) current photographs or video;
  • (b) measurements;
  • (c) material or manufacturer information;
  • (d) property-condition or pest information; or
  • (e) access for an on-site inspection,

where reasonably necessary to determine an appropriate service and provide an accurate quotation.

2.10 Review of a Quoted Price

Prices displayed online or quoted before inspecting the property are based on average house conditions and the information supplied by the Client, and may vary where the actual condition, size, layout or scope of the property or items differs from that information. This is reflected here in addition to any representation made on our website.

A displayed or quoted price may be reviewed if, upon arrival or after receiving additional information:

  • (a) the property, area or number of items is materially larger than described;
  • (b) the condition is materially different from the information or photographs provided;
  • (c) excessive buildup, staining, pet contamination, mould, grease, pest activity or another undisclosed condition is present;
  • (d) the Client requests additional tasks, items or areas;
  • (e) the selected service is not reasonably suitable;
  • (f) access, parking or safety restrictions were not disclosed; or
  • (g) additional time, labour, equipment or specialist treatment is reasonably required.

Any work requested by the Client that is beyond the original confirmed scope — including additional tasks, items, areas or specialist treatments — is additional work and requires a separate quote. Corleone Cleaning Co. is not obliged to perform additional work on the strength of the original confirmed price alone.

2.11 Additional Work Requires a Quote

Before commencing any work outside the original confirmed scope, Corleone Cleaning Co. will inspect or assess the additional work and provide the Client with a separate written quote for that additional work.

The Client may accept or decline the separate quote. If the Client accepts, the additional work will be performed and charged at the quoted amount. If the Client does not accept the separate quote, Corleone Cleaning Co. will proceed only with the original confirmed job within the original confirmed price and is not required to perform the additional work.

No additional service, upgrade or material increase to the confirmed price will be applied without the Client's approval obtained in accordance with this clause.

2.12 If a Separate Quote Is Not Accepted

If the Client does not accept the separate quote for additional work, Corleone Cleaning Co. will, where reasonably practicable:

  • (a) perform only the work included in the original confirmed booking;
  • (b) remain within the original allocated time and price;
  • (c) prioritise the areas or items previously nominated by the Client; and
  • (d) reschedule or decline any additional work that cannot be performed safely or reasonably within the confirmed scope.

The Client is not entitled to cancel the original confirmed booking without paying the applicable cancellation fee merely because a separate quote for additional work was not accepted.

2.13 Quotations

Unless expressly stated otherwise, quotations:

  • (a) apply only to the property, items and services described;
  • (b) are based on the information available when issued;
  • (c) do not include additional or specialist services not listed;
  • (d) remain subject to availability until the booking is confirmed; and
  • (e) are valid for the period stated in the quotation.

2.14 Task-Based Services

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, cleaning services are provided on a task-based, fixed-price basis and are not purchased by the hour. Any time estimate provided is an indication only and does not form part of the agreed service.

Completion is determined by the confirmed service scope and applicable checklist, subject to reasonable access, safety, property condition and service limitations. Differences in cleaner experience, method or working pace do not entitle the Client to additional cleaning tasks, a price reduction or an extension of the service where the agreed scope has been completed to the required standard.

2.15 Commercial Cleaning Services

In addition to residential cleaning, Corleone Cleaning Co. provides commercial cleaning services for businesses, including retail and showrooms, offices and corporate premises, gyms and fitness centres, and childcare and education facilities.

Commercial cleaning services are quoted on a tailored basis following an on-site inspection or assessment. Prices are determined by the size, layout and condition of the premises, the cleaning frequency, the number and type of areas to be serviced, the level of soiling, specialist requirements, access and parking, equipment and products required, and any compliance or industry standards that apply to the premises (for example, childcare or education standards).

The Client acknowledges that commercial cleaning is not an instant-booking or fixed-price residential service. A displayed or indicative commercial price is not a final quotation. A written quotation will be issued following the inspection or assessment and remains valid for the period stated in that quotation.

These Terms and Conditions apply to commercial cleaning services except where a specific written commercial quotation, service agreement or contract states otherwise. In the event of an inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and a specific written commercial quotation or agreement, the specific written commercial quotation or agreement prevails to the extent of that inconsistency.

Commercial clients may request a quotation through the Commercial page on our website or by contacting us directly. Corleone Cleaning Co. will arrange an on-site inspection and provide a tailored written quote within a reasonable period, ordinarily within 24 hours.

Matters addressed elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions — including upfront payment (Clause 4.4), payment methods (Clauses 4.5 to 4.8), cancellations and rescheduling (Clause 5), cleaning results and limitations (Clauses 3 and 7), access and property preparation (Clause 8) and liability (Clause 9) — apply to commercial services with any necessary modifications, except where the written commercial quotation or agreement states otherwise.

3. Cleaning Results, Service Types and Property Condition

3.1 Standard of Service

Corleone Cleaning Co. will perform each cleaning service with due care and skill and in accordance with:

  • (a) the cleaning package selected by the Client;
  • (b) the confirmed quotation and booking details;
  • (c) the cleaning checklist applicable to the selected service; and
  • (d) any additional instructions accepted by Corleone Cleaning Co. before the service begins.

3.2 Factors Affecting Cleaning Results

Cleaning results depend partly on the condition of the property at the commencement of the service. Factors that may affect the time required and results reasonably achievable include:

  • (a) the length of time since the property was last professionally or thoroughly cleaned;
  • (b) the amount of dirt, dust, grease, soap scum, limescale, pet hair or other buildup;
  • (c) the age, material, condition and maintenance history of surfaces, fixtures, fittings, appliances and furnishings;
  • (d) permanent staining, discolouration, corrosion, scratches, deterioration, wear and tear or pre-existing damage;
  • (e) mould, mildew, pest activity, odours or biological contamination;
  • (f) excessive clutter, personal belongings or restricted access;
  • (g) the size and layout of the property;
  • (h) the accuracy of the information supplied by the Client; and
  • (i) the amount of work reasonably capable of being completed within the selected service, confirmed scope and allocated time.

3.3 General Cleaning

A General Clean is a routine maintenance service intended for a property that is already in a reasonably clean and regularly maintained condition.

A General Clean ordinarily covers the tasks identified in Corleone Cleaning Co.'s General Cleaning checklist. It does not include the additional detailing, intensive scrubbing or specialist work associated with a Deep Clean, Move-in/Move-out Clean or Bond Clean unless expressly included in the confirmed booking.

The Client acknowledges that a General Clean may not be suitable where the property:

  • (a) has not been thoroughly cleaned for an extended period;
  • (b) has excessive dirt, grease, soap scum, dust, pet hair or other buildup;
  • (c) requires extensive scrubbing, detailing or stain treatment;
  • (d) requires cleaning following construction, renovation, prolonged vacancy or the end of a tenancy;
  • (e) is being prepared for a tenancy entry or exit inspection; or
  • (f) is materially more labour-intensive than a reasonably maintained property of a similar size.

3.4 Deep Cleaning

A Deep Clean is a more detailed and labour-intensive service intended for properties requiring additional attention beyond routine maintenance cleaning.

A Deep Clean ordinarily includes the tasks identified in Corleone Cleaning Co.'s Deep Cleaning checklist and may involve additional detailing, scrubbing and treatment of buildup in accessible areas.

The Client acknowledges that a Deep Clean does not automatically include:

  • (a) Move-in, Move-out or Bond Cleaning;
  • (b) carpet or upholstery steam cleaning;
  • (c) pest control or flea treatment;
  • (d) external window cleaning;
  • (e) pressure cleaning;
  • (f) professional mould treatment or remediation;
  • (g) biohazard cleaning;
  • (h) rubbish, furniture or abandoned-property removal;
  • (i) garden, pool or external-property maintenance;
  • (j) repairs, painting or restoration work; or
  • (k) cleaning of unsafe or inaccessible areas.

These services must be expressly included in the confirmed quotation or purchased separately.

3.5 Move-in, Move-out and Bond Cleaning

A Move-in, Move-out or Bond Clean is a detailed cleaning service intended to prepare a property for occupation, vacancy, handover or a tenancy inspection.

The service is limited to the tasks listed in the confirmed quotation and Corleone Cleaning Co.'s applicable Move-in, Move-out or Bond Cleaning checklist.

The Client acknowledges that, unless expressly included in the quotation, a Move-in, Move-out or Bond Clean does not automatically include:

  • (a) carpet steam cleaning;
  • (b) upholstery cleaning;
  • (c) pest control or flea treatment;
  • (d) external window cleaning;
  • (e) pressure cleaning;
  • (f) professional mould treatment or remediation;
  • (g) biohazard cleaning;
  • (h) rubbish, furniture or abandoned-property removal;
  • (i) garden, lawn, pool or external-area maintenance;
  • (j) repairs, painting or restoration work;
  • (k) specialist stain removal;
  • (l) tile and grout restoration; or
  • (m) cleaning of inaccessible or unsafe areas.

Any additional or specialist service must be separately quoted, disclosed and approved by the Client and Corleone Cleaning Co.

3.6 Move-in, Move-out and Bond Cleaning — Preparation and Bond Return

For a Move-in, Move-out or Bond Clean, the Client must ensure that:

  • (a) the property is vacant unless otherwise agreed;
  • (b) furniture, rubbish, food, personal belongings and other items have been removed;
  • (c) electricity and hot and cold running water remain connected;
  • (d) all included rooms, cupboards, wardrobes, fixtures and appliances are empty and safely accessible;
  • (e) removalists, tradespeople, repairers and other service providers have completed their work before cleaning begins;
  • (f) keys, access codes, alarm instructions and parking arrangements have been provided; and
  • (g) any property-condition report, entry or exit report, landlord instructions or property-manager checklist has been provided before the service.

If these requirements are not satisfied, Corleone Cleaning Co. may be unable to complete some or all of the booked work. Additional time, labour or a return visit may incur an additional charge, but no additional work or charge will be applied without the Client's approval.

Corleone Cleaning Co. will perform a Bond Clean according to the confirmed quotation and cleaning checklist. However, we do not guarantee the release or return of the Client's rental bond or the outcome of any entry or exit inspection. We are providing a cleaning service, not an inspection-outcome guarantee, because bond and inspection decisions may be affected by matters outside our reasonable control, including:

  • (a) unpaid rent, utilities or other tenancy charges;
  • (b) property damage or maintenance issues;
  • (c) permanent staining, deterioration or ordinary wear and tear;
  • (d) gardening, rubbish removal, pest treatment, carpet cleaning or other work not included in our quotation;
  • (e) changes to or use of the property after our service;
  • (f) undisclosed tenancy requirements;
  • (g) the actions of tenants, occupants, visitors, animals, removalists, tradespeople, landlords or property managers; or
  • (h) matters unrelated to the quality of the cleaning service.

The Client acknowledges that a satisfactory cleaning service does not guarantee the release or return of the rental bond or a particular inspection outcome.

3.7 Property Manager and Landlord Requirements

The Client is responsible for providing any cleaning requirements issued by their landlord, property manager or accommodation provider before the service begins.

If no external checklist or instructions are provided, Corleone Cleaning Co. will perform the service according to its standard checklist and confirmed quotation.

Requirements supplied during or after the service may be treated as additional work where they were not reasonably included in the original service scope. Any additional service and price must be disclosed to and approved by the Client before work proceeds.

3.8 Re-clean Requests Following a Bond Inspection

If a landlord or property manager identifies a cleaning issue relating to a task included in the confirmed Bond Clean, the Client should notify Corleone Cleaning Co. as soon as reasonably possible and provide:

  • (a) the relevant inspection report, exit report or written feedback;
  • (b) photographs where reasonably available;
  • (c) a description of the affected area; and
  • (d) reasonable access to assess and, where appropriate, correct the issue.

Any re-clean request will be considered under Corleone Cleaning Co.'s Satisfaction and Re-clean Guarantee. Corleone Cleaning Co. does not guarantee the approval of any re-clean request, although each request will be assessed on its merits and in good faith.

Additional cleaning requested by a landlord or property manager will not be complimentary where it:

  • (a) was not included in the original quotation or checklist;
  • (b) relates to damage, wear and tear or permanent staining;
  • (c) results from the property being used or altered after our service; or
  • (d) requires a specialist service that was not purchased.

3.9 Unsuitable Service Selection

Where the property's condition or the Client's requirements are materially beyond the selected service, Corleone Cleaning Co. may recommend:

  • (a) upgrading from a General Clean to a Deep Clean;
  • (b) changing from a General or Deep Clean to a Move-in, Move-out or Bond Clean;
  • (c) purchasing additional cleaning time;
  • (d) adding one or more optional services;
  • (e) arranging an appropriate specialist service; or
  • (f) rescheduling all or part of the work.

3.10 Approval of Changes and Additional Charges

Corleone Cleaning Co. will explain any recommended change and disclose the additional price before performing work outside the original confirmed booking.

No service upgrade, additional work or material price increase will be applied without the Client's approval.

Approval may be provided:

  • (a) through the online booking system;
  • (b) by email or SMS;
  • (c) verbally, where the approval is recorded in the service notes; or
  • (d) through another clear and verifiable method of communication.

3.11 If the Client Cannot Be Contacted

If the Client cannot be contacted or does not approve the recommended change, Corleone Cleaning Co. will, where reasonably practicable:

  • (a) perform only the tasks included in the confirmed booking;
  • (b) remain within the originally allocated time and price;
  • (c) prioritise areas previously nominated by the Client; and
  • (d) record any areas or tasks that could not reasonably be completed.

If the property cannot be cleaned safely or the confirmed service cannot reasonably be performed, Corleone Cleaning Co. may suspend or reschedule the service in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

3.12 Client Declines a Recommended Upgrade

If the Client retains a General Clean after being advised that a Deep Clean, Move-in, Move-out or Bond Clean is reasonably required, or declines recommended additional time or specialist work, the Client acknowledges that:

  • (a) not all requested areas or tasks may be completed;
  • (b) heavy buildup or ingrained dirt may remain;
  • (c) the property may require additional services to achieve the Client's preferred result; and
  • (d) the voluntary Re-clean Guarantee will not cover a result that could not reasonably be achieved within the service scope and time selected by the Client.

3.13 Cleaning Limitations

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not guarantee the complete removal of:

  • (a) permanent or old stains;
  • (b) discolouration or fading;
  • (c) mould staining or damage caused by mould;
  • (d) rust, corrosion or mineral deposits;
  • (e) adhesive, paint or renovation residue;
  • (f) ingrained dirt or grease that requires restoration;
  • (g) persistent odours;
  • (h) scratches, chips or surface damage;
  • (i) deterioration, wear and tear or pre-existing damage; or
  • (j) any condition that cannot reasonably be corrected through the selected cleaning service.

3.14 Specialist and Hazardous Conditions

Mould remediation, biohazard cleaning, pest control, restoration work and other specialist services are not included unless expressly stated in the confirmed booking.

If a cleaner discovers an unsafe or hazardous condition, Corleone Cleaning Co. may stop work in the affected area or suspend the service where reasonably necessary to protect the Client, cleaner, property or public.

3.15 Client Information and Photographs

Before booking, the Client must provide accurate information about:

  • (a) the property's size and layout;
  • (b) the number of bedrooms and bathrooms;
  • (c) the current condition of the property;
  • (d) the presence of pets, excessive buildup, mould, pests or other special conditions;
  • (e) access and parking arrangements; and
  • (f) the cleaning result or purpose required.

Where reasonably requested, the Client should provide current photographs, video or access for an inspection so that Corleone Cleaning Co. can recommend the appropriate service and prepare an accurate quotation.

3.16 Client Direction of Cleaning Methods

The Client, occupants and other third parties must not direct, instruct or insist that our cleaners perform a clean in a particular manner contrary to the applicable cleaning checklist, the confirmed service scope or Corleone Cleaning Co.'s professional methods. The Client may raise cleaning preferences and priorities, and Corleone Cleaning Co. will accommodate them where reasonably practicable.

The Client acknowledges that where a clean is performed substantially as directed by the Client, another occupant or a third party contrary to the applicable checklist, confirmed scope or professional methods, the satisfaction guarantee in Clause 6 cannot be given.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing Basis

Prices are calculated using the information provided by the Client at the time of booking, including:

  • (a) the type of cleaning service selected;
  • (b) the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and other included areas;
  • (c) the size, layout and condition of the property;
  • (d) the selected cleaning frequency;
  • (e) the estimated time and labour required;
  • (f) any selected add-ons or specialist services;
  • (g) access and parking requirements; and
  • (h) the requested service date and commencement time.

4.2 Starting Prices and Quotations

Prices displayed as "from," "starting from" or "quoted upon inspection" are indicative starting prices and are not final quotations.

The final price will be based on the information supplied by the Client and, where reasonably required, photographs, video or an inspection of the property or items requiring service.

Once a booking has been confirmed, Corleone Cleaning Co. will not materially increase the agreed price without:

  • (a) explaining why additional work, time or specialist treatment is required;
  • (b) disclosing the additional amount; and
  • (c) obtaining the Client's approval before proceeding.

4.3 Total Price Disclosure

Before the Client confirms a booking, Corleone Cleaning Co. will disclose the total price or the basis on which the price will be calculated, including any:

  • (a) the requirement for card bookings to be paid in full at the time of booking;
  • (b) selected add-ons;
  • (c) same-day booking surcharge;
  • (d) weekend, public-holiday or after-hours surcharge;
  • (e) parking charge known at the time of booking; and
  • (f) other mandatory fee reasonably capable of being calculated in advance.

Corleone Cleaning Co. will not add hidden or undisclosed charges to a confirmed booking.

4.4 Payment at Booking

Card bookings are paid in full at the time the booking is made — there is no deposit, no authorisation hold and no payment collected after the service.

A requested appointment remains provisional and is not confirmed until:

  • (a) Corleone Cleaning Co. has accepted the booking;
  • (b) payment in full has been received through our secure payment provider; and
  • (c) written booking confirmation has been issued to the Client.

Payment is taken on our secure payment provider's payment page, which accepts card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The payment covers the full confirmed booking price (including selected add-ons and applicable surcharges). Corleone Cleaning Co. never sees or stores the Client's card details, and a receipt is issued when the payment is processed.

Because payment is taken in full at booking, price adjustments after payment are handled by refund. If the confirmed price changes with the Client's approval before or during the service, any difference owed to the Client is refunded to the original payment method; any additional amount is agreed with the Client and arranged by our team before it is collected.

Corleone Cleaning Co. accepts card payment only, and all bookings are paid in full at the time of booking. If a cancellation, no-show or lockout fee becomes payable under Clause 5, it is arranged for payment with the Client directly.

If a payment is declined or cannot be completed, the booking remains provisional until a successful payment is received. If payment is not completed within a reasonable time, Corleone Cleaning Co. may release the appointment and cancel the provisional booking.

For recurring weekly, fortnightly or monthly services, each scheduled service is booked and paid for individually through the secure payment provider at the time of booking.

Cancellation, rescheduling, lockout, no-show and refund outcomes — including the 75% fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice — are governed by Clause 5 of these Terms and Conditions.

4.5 Payment Methods

Corleone Cleaning Co. accepts card payment only. Payment is taken by:

  • (a) credit or debit card; or
  • (b) Apple Pay or Google Pay through our secure payment provider's payment page.

The Client must use an approved payment method and include the invoice or booking reference when reasonably requested.

4.6 Card Payments

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not apply any surcharge to card payments. The price displayed at checkout is the full amount payable.

4.7 Cash and Other Payment Methods

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not accept cash, and our cleaners do not handle payments. The total must not be paid to the cleaner on the day of service. All payments are taken securely online at the time of booking as set out in Clauses 4.5 and 4.6. If a cancellation, no-show or lockout fee becomes payable under Clause 5, it is arranged for payment with the Client directly.

Card-only payment eliminates unpaid balances, automates refunds, and provides both the Client and the business with a clear digital record of every transaction for tax reporting and dispute resolution.

4.8 Bank Transfers

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not accept payment by bank transfer. All payments are taken securely online at the time of booking through our secure payment provider's payment page, as set out in Clause 4.5.

4.9 Recurring-Service Payments

For weekly, fortnightly or monthly cleaning services, each scheduled service is booked and paid for individually through the secure payment provider at the time of booking. No card is stored for future services, and no amount is charged without the Client booking and paying for that specific visit.

When the Client books a recurring package, they choose a start date and approve ongoing bookings at that frequency. The Client expressly acknowledges the recurring-service conditions during checkout, and no recurring booking is created without that acknowledgement.

"I understand that the weekly, fortnightly or monthly option creates an ongoing recurring service arrangement at the selected frequency, that the price per visit is the same as the applicable one-off price for my home, and that each scheduled visit is booked and paid for individually at the time of booking. I may cancel future scheduled visits at any time in accordance with the Booking & Cancellation Policy."

4.10 Payments for Recurring Services

Each recurring visit is paid for by the Client at the time that visit is booked, for:

  • (a) the confirmed price of that scheduled service (including approved add-ons and applicable surcharges);
  • (b) add-ons or additional work approved by the Client; and
  • (c) disclosed parking or access costs reasonably incurred for the service.

Corleone Cleaning Co. will not charge the Client for an unapproved service, undisclosed fee or material price increase. Cancellation and lockout fees properly payable under Clause 5 are handled in accordance with that clause.

A receipt or paid invoice will be provided electronically after each payment is processed.

4.11 Changes to Recurring Prices

If the price of a recurring service changes, Corleone Cleaning Co. will provide reasonable advance notice before applying the new price.

The Client may decline the new price and cancel future services without a cancellation fee, provided the Client gives notice before the new price takes effect and no separate cancellation fee is already payable for an imminent booking.

4.12 Stopping Future Recurring Bookings

The Client may stop future scheduled recurring visits at any time by contacting Corleone Cleaning Co. or using their booking-management link, in accordance with Clause 5.

Withdrawing the authorisation does not:

  • (a) cancel an existing booking;
  • (b) remove the Client's obligation to pay an amount already due; or
  • (c) prevent Corleone Cleaning Co. from issuing an invoice or requesting payment through another approved method.

The Client may request that the payment provider remove the stored payment method when it is no longer required, subject to any applicable recordkeeping obligations.

4.13 Payment Security

Card information will be collected and processed through an authorised payment provider.

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not ordinarily receive or store the Client's complete card number or security code. Stored payment methods will be handled in accordance with the payment provider's security processes and Corleone Cleaning Co.'s privacy practices.

Clients must not send complete card details through ordinary email, SMS, social media or another unsecured communication channel.

4.14 Weekend, Public-Holiday and After-Hours Surcharges

The following surcharges may apply to a booking, in addition to the base service price and any selected add-ons:

After-hours definition: The $50 after-hours surcharge applies when the scheduled service starts before 8:00 am or at or after 5:00 pm. Ordinary weekday services scheduled from 8:00 am to before 5:00 pm do not attract an after-hours surcharge.

Booking conditionSurcharge
Saturday service+$30
Sunday service+$50
Public holiday service+25%
After-hours service+$50
Same-day booking+$50

Any applicable surcharge will be clearly disclosed before the Client confirms the booking and will be included in the total confirmed booking price payable in full at the time of booking.

4.15 Same-Day Booking Surcharge

A same-day booking surcharge may apply where a Client requests a service to be performed on the same day the booking is made. The surcharge reflects the additional coordination, scheduling and operational cost of arranging a cleaner at short notice.

The same-day surcharge will be clearly disclosed before the Client confirms the booking and will be included in the total confirmed booking price payable in full at the time of booking.

4.16 Parking and Access Costs

The Client must disclose any known paid-parking, access, permit, toll or building-entry costs before confirming the booking.

Where a necessary cost could not reasonably be calculated before booking, Corleone Cleaning Co. will notify the Client before adding it to the outstanding balance where reasonably practicable.

No unreasonable or undisclosed administrative markup will be added to an external parking or access charge.

4.16 Outstanding Balances and Failed Payments

If a payment is declined, reversed or remains unpaid, Corleone Cleaning Co. may:

  • (a) notify the Client and issue a replacement payment link or invoice;
  • (b) request an alternative approved payment method;
  • (c) suspend or decline future bookings until the outstanding balance is paid; and
  • (d) take reasonable steps to recover an undisputed overdue amount.

Payment is due on the date stated on the invoice. If payment remains outstanding for more than three calendar days, Corleone Cleaning Co. may apply a one-off late-payment administration fee of $10. Customers experiencing payment difficulties are encouraged to contact us promptly. Future services may be suspended until the outstanding balance is paid.

Card payments are taken in full at the time of booking, and a booking is not confirmed until payment is received. A failed payment attempt will not automatically attract an undisclosed fee.

4.17 Invoices and Receipts

Invoices will clearly state:

  • (a) the Client and service details;
  • (b) the service date;
  • (c) the total service price;
  • (d) any amount already captured or received;
  • (e) the remaining balance;
  • (f) selected add-ons and applicable surcharges;
  • (g) the available payment methods;
  • (h) the payment deadline; and
  • (i) Corleone Cleaning Co.'s business and contact information.

The Client should review the invoice promptly and contact Corleone Cleaning Co. if they believe it contains an error.

4.18 Payment Disputes and Refunds

A Client who disputes a charge should contact Corleone Cleaning Co. as soon as reasonably possible and provide the booking or invoice number and details of the disputed amount.

Corleone Cleaning Co. will investigate the matter and provide any refund or correction required under these Terms and Conditions.

Refunds, deposits and cancellation-related payments are also governed by Clause 5.

4.19 Recurring-Service Commitment

The weekly, fortnightly and monthly cleaning options create an ongoing recurring service arrangement and are not one-time trials. By selecting one of these options, the Client chooses a start date and approves ongoing bookings at that frequency. The price per visit for a recurring booking is the same as the applicable one-off price for the same property and service.

If the recurring arrangement is discontinued, future scheduled visits are stopped and no price adjustment is applied to completed services. The Client may still cancel any individual future appointment in accordance with the Booking & Cancellation Policy, including the 75% fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice.

Before a recurring booking is confirmed, the Client must expressly acknowledge the recurring-service conditions during checkout, including that the Client authorises Corleone Cleaning Co. to schedule future services at the selected frequency, with each scheduled visit booked and paid for individually in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5. Booking & Cancellation Policy

Our booking payments, cancellations, rescheduling and refund terms — including notice periods, cancellation fees, no-show and lockout charges and refund processing — are set out in our separate Booking & Cancellation Policy.

By submitting or confirming a booking, paying for a booking in full at the time of booking, or instructing us to commence a service, the Client agrees to the terms of that policy. This Clause 5 forms part of these Terms and Conditions and is incorporated by reference.

Cancellations may be made online through the secure "Manage Your Booking" link in the booking confirmation email or through the member portal, without the need to telephone. Telephone and email cancellation remain available for elderly clients or anyone experiencing technical difficulty. Full details — including cancellation fees, refund amounts, automated confirmation emails and the date and time recorded for each cancellation — are set out in the Booking & Cancellation Policy.

6. Satisfaction and Re-clean Guarantee

6.1 Our Commitment

Corleone Cleaning Co. aims to provide every cleaning service with due care and skill and in accordance with the service description, confirmed booking and agreed cleaning checklist.

If the Client believes that an area or task included in the confirmed booking was missed or was not completed to a reasonable professional standard, the Client should notify us within 24 hours after completion of the service. Subject to the conditions below, we will assess the report and, where appropriate, arrange one complimentary re-clean of the affected area.

6.2 How to Make a Claim

To request a re-clean, the Client must contact Corleone Cleaning Co. using the contact details below and provide:

  • (a) the Client's full name and service address;
  • (b) the booking, receipt or invoice number, where available;
  • (c) the date on which the cleaning service was performed;
  • (d) a clear description of each affected area and the cleaning task that the Client believes was missed or not completed satisfactorily;
  • (e) photographs or video showing the reported issue, where reasonably available; and
  • (f) the time the issue was first noticed and any relevant circumstances that may assist our investigation.

Photographs or video should be taken before the affected area is used, altered, cleaned by another person or exposed to new dirt, where reasonably practicable. However, an inability to provide photographs or video will not automatically invalidate a claim. We will consider all reasonably available evidence, including the booking checklist, cleaner's records, time-stamped photographs, communications and the circumstances of the service.

6.3 Assessment of the Report

Corleone Cleaning Co. may reasonably assess the reported issue before approving a re-clean. This may include reviewing photographs, speaking with the Client and cleaner, checking the agreed service scope or inspecting the affected area.

The Client must provide us with a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, correct the reported issue before engaging another cleaning provider to perform the same remedial work.

We will respond to the Client's report within a reasonable period and advise whether a re-clean, another remedy or further information is required.

6.4 Re-clean Arrangements

Where a re-clean is approved:

  • (a) it will be limited to the specific affected areas or tasks included in the original confirmed booking;
  • (b) no additional cleaning tasks or areas will be included unless separately agreed and paid for;
  • (c) the Client must provide safe and reasonable access to the property at an agreed time;
  • (d) the re-clean should normally be completed within seven days after approval, subject to the Client providing access and both parties agreeing on a reasonable appointment time; and
  • (e) Corleone Cleaning Co. will cover the reasonable cost of performing the approved re-clean.

If the Client unreasonably refuses to provide access or does not attend an agreed re-clean appointment, we may not be required to offer another appointment under this voluntary guarantee.

6.5 Matters Not Covered by the Voluntary Re-clean Guarantee

The voluntary re-clean guarantee does not ordinarily apply to:

  • (a) cleaning tasks or areas that were not included in the confirmed booking;
  • (b) permanent stains, discolouration, mould staining, corrosion, damage, deterioration, wear and tear or other conditions that cannot reasonably be removed through the booked cleaning service;
  • (c) results affected by excessive clutter, restricted access, unavailable water or electricity, unsafe conditions or undisclosed surface-care requirements;
  • (d) areas that became dirty after the service because of occupants, visitors, children, animals, tradespeople, weather or another third party;
  • (e) dissatisfaction arising only because the Client expected a service beyond the agreed scope or selected cleaning package;
  • (f) a Client's change of mind or personal preference where the service was otherwise supplied with due care and skill and in accordance with the agreed description; or
  • (g) another person cleaning, altering or interfering with the affected area before we have had a reasonable opportunity to assess it;
  • (h) any clean performed substantially as directed by the Client, another occupant or a third party contrary to the applicable cleaning checklist, the confirmed service scope or Corleone Cleaning Co.'s professional methods (see Clause 3.16).

6.6 Reports Received After 24 Hours

The 24-hour reporting period applies to Corleone Cleaning Co.'s voluntary re-clean guarantee because cleaning results can be affected by the use of the property and events occurring after the service.

We may still consider reports received after 24 hours based on the circumstances and the available evidence.

6.7 Guarantee Provider and Contact Details

This voluntary re-clean guarantee is provided by:

Collins Corleone Pty Ltd trading as Corleone Cleaning Co.
ABN: 53 691 755 432
Address: 75 Nerang Street, Southport QLD 4215
Email: info@corleonecleaningco.com.au
Telephone: 07 5620 3786

There is no application fee for requesting a re-clean. The Client is responsible for their ordinary costs of contacting us and providing available supporting information. Corleone Cleaning Co. will bear the reasonable cost of an approved re-clean performed by us.

7. Service Exclusions and Cleaning Limitations

7.1 Tasks We Do Not Require or Permit

For the health and safety of our clients and cleaners, Corleone Cleaning Co. does not require or permit its cleaners to:

  • (a) lift, push, pull or move heavy, oversized, unstable or unsafe furniture, appliances or other items;
  • (b) move refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, large lounges, cabinets, wardrobes, entertainment units or similar heavy items;
  • (c) lift or move king-size mattresses or any mattress that cannot be handled safely by one person;
  • (d) climb on furniture, benchtops or other unsuitable surfaces;
  • (e) use a ladder higher than a standard two-step household step ladder;
  • (f) clean areas that cannot be reached safely from floor level or with the permitted two-step ladder;
  • (g) handle or clean human or animal blood, bodily fluids, faeces, needles, medical waste, deceased animals or other biological hazards;
  • (h) identify, disturb, handle or remove asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material;
  • (i) handle, remove or dispose of unidentified, dangerous or improperly stored chemicals;
  • (j) perform electrical, plumbing, gas, building, pest-control, restoration or other licensed trade work;
  • (k) clean areas affected by active sewage, flooding, fire damage, structural instability or another serious health or safety hazard; or
  • (l) perform any task that the cleaner reasonably considers unsafe, unlawful or outside the scope of the confirmed booking.

7.2 Moving Light Furniture

Light furniture and small household items may be moved only where the cleaner reasonably considers that:

  • (a) the item can be moved safely by one person;
  • (b) moving it is unlikely to cause injury or damage;
  • (c) sufficient space is available; and
  • (d) the item is stable and does not contain fragile or unsecured contents.

The cleaner is not required to move any item, even if requested by the Client, where the cleaner reasonably believes it may present a risk.

7.3 Areas Behind Heavy Furniture or Appliances

If the Client wants an area underneath or behind heavy furniture or appliances to be cleaned, the Client must arrange for those items to be safely moved before the cleaner arrives. Corleone Cleaning Co. is not responsible for areas that cannot be accessed because an item has not been moved.

7.4 Disclosing Known Hazards

The Client must inform Corleone Cleaning Co. before the service of any known or suspected biohazard, asbestos, dangerous chemical, pest infestation, structural risk or other hazardous condition at the property.

7.5 Undisclosed Hazards Discovered During Service

If an undisclosed hazard is discovered, the cleaner may stop work in the affected area or leave the property where reasonably necessary for safety. We will notify the Client as soon as reasonably practicable. Any charge for work already completed or costs reasonably incurred will be determined in accordance with the confirmed booking and these Terms and Conditions.

7.6 Services Not Included by Default

Unless specifically included in the selected service or purchased as an add-on, the following are not included in a standard cleaning service:

  • (a) internal oven cleaning;
  • (b) internal refrigerator or freezer cleaning;
  • (c) internal window cleaning;
  • (d) external window cleaning;
  • (e) carpet or upholstery steam cleaning;
  • (f) wall washing or extensive spot cleaning;

  • (h) pest control;
  • (i) tile and grout restoration;
  • (j) garden, balcony or external-area cleaning;
  • (k) decluttering, rubbish removal or disposal of large quantities of waste; and
  • (l) cleaning at heights or in inaccessible areas.

7.7 Cleaning Results and Pre-existing Conditions

Cleaning results depend on the original condition, age, material, staining, buildup, deterioration, wear and tear, previous cleaning methods and maintenance history of the property and its contents.

Corleone Cleaning Co. does not guarantee the complete removal of permanent stains, discolouration, mould staining, mineral deposits, corrosion, adhesive residue, ingrained dirt, scratches, damage or deterioration that cannot reasonably be corrected through the booked cleaning service.

7.8 Declining to Clean Fragile or Deteriorated Items

Where a surface or item may be damaged by ordinary cleaning, is already deteriorated, or requires specialist treatment, Corleone Cleaning Co. may decline to clean it or may recommend an appropriate specialist service.

8. Access and Property Preparation

8.1 Providing Access

The Client must provide Corleone Cleaning Co. and its authorised cleaners with safe, reasonable and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time.

8.2 Access Instructions

Before the service, the Client must provide accurate access instructions, including any relevant key, lockbox, concierge, gate, intercom or alarm information. The Client is responsible for ensuring that any access code or key provided is current and functional.

8.3 Parking and Building Access

The Client must advise us in advance of any parking restrictions, paid parking, building access requirements or permits. Where free and reasonable parking is unavailable, any necessary parking costs may be added to the final invoice, provided this has been disclosed to the Client.

8.4 Utilities and Working Conditions

The Client must ensure that the property has working electricity, hot and cold running water, adequate lighting and safe access to all areas included in the booking. If these are unavailable, we may be unable to complete some or all of the service.

8.5 Preparing the Property

Before our arrival, the Client must:

  • (a) remove excessive clutter and personal belongings from the areas to be cleaned;
  • (b) securely store cash, jewellery, important documents, medication, fragile items and other valuables, and move valuable or sentimental items away from the areas to be cleaned where reasonably practicable;
  • (c) identify any fragile, unstable, damaged or high-value items;
  • (d) disclose known hazards, including broken glass, exposed wiring, mould, bodily fluids, pests, hazardous chemicals, weapons or unsafe structures; and
  • (e) secure or appropriately manage pets and advise us of any animal that may be aggressive, anxious or likely to escape.

8.6 Moving Furniture

Our cleaners will not move furniture, appliances or other items that they reasonably consider too heavy, unstable or unsafe. Light furniture may only be moved where it can be done safely.

8.7 Inability to Enter or Safety Risks

If our team cannot enter the property, experiences an unreasonable delay, or determines that the property presents an undisclosed health or safety risk, we may suspend or cancel the service. Any applicable lockout, cancellation or waiting-time charge will be handled in accordance with our cancellation policy and only to the extent reasonably necessary to cover the resulting loss or costs.

8.8 Reduced Results From Restricted Access

Corleone Cleaning Co. is not responsible for incomplete work or reduced cleaning results caused by restricted access, excessive clutter, unavailable utilities, undisclosed hazards or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8.9 Notifying Us of Changes

The Client must notify us before the appointment if any access or safety information changes.

8.10 Pets and Animals

The Client must advise us before the booking of any pets or animals at the property, including any animal that may be aggressive, anxious, protective or likely to escape. The Client must secure or appropriately manage pets and animals before and during the service so that our cleaners can work safely. We are not responsible for supervising, feeding, medicating or caring for pets or animals, and our cleaners may decline to enter or continue in an area where an animal presents a safety risk.

9. Liability, Damage and Customer Rights

9.1 Due Care and Skill

Corleone Cleaning Co. will perform its services with due care and skill and in accordance with the agreed service description and confirmed booking details.

9.2 Matters We Are Not Responsible For

We are not responsible for:

  • (a) pre-existing damage, defects, stains, deterioration or ordinary wear and tear;
  • (b) damage caused by defective, improperly installed, unstable, insecure or poorly maintained items or surfaces;
  • (c) damage resulting from a Client's failure to disclose special care instructions, known hazards or fragile or high-value items;
  • (d) the natural deterioration of aged, sun-damaged or delicate materials during ordinary cleaning performed with reasonable care; or
  • (e) loss or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This clause does not apply where the loss or damage was caused by our failure to exercise due care and skill or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

9.3 Special-Care Items

The Client must advise us before cleaning begins if any surface, furnishing, appliance or item requires special cleaning products, methods or manufacturer instructions. We may decline to clean an item or area where we reasonably believe there is a risk of damage.

9.4 Securing Valuables

The Client is responsible for securely storing cash, jewellery, documents, medication and other valuable or irreplaceable items before the service begins.

9.5 Reporting Loss or Damage

If the Client believes that loss or damage occurred during the service, they should notify Corleone Cleaning Co. as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours of discovering it. The Client should provide photographs, a description of the issue and any other relevant information so that we can investigate promptly.

9.6 Delayed Reporting

A failure to report an issue within 24 hours does not remove any rights the Client may have under the Australian Consumer Law. However, an unreasonable delay may affect our ability to investigate whether the issue was connected with the service.

9.7 Opportunity to Inspect

The Client must give Corleone Cleaning Co. a reasonable opportunity to inspect and investigate the reported issue before arranging repairs, replacement or remedial work, except where urgent action is reasonably necessary to prevent further loss, damage or danger.

9.8 Available Remedies

Where we are responsible for loss or damage, the available remedy will be determined in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the circumstances of the claim. Depending on the situation, this may include rectification, repair, replacement, refund or compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

10. Service Checklist and Quality Assurance

10.1 Applicable Checklist

Each cleaning service will be performed according to the service package, confirmed booking details and cleaning checklist applicable to that service.

10.2 Completing the Checklist

At the end of the service, the cleaner will review and complete the cleaning checklist to record:

  • (a) the tasks completed;
  • (b) any task that could not be completed;
  • (c) any area that was inaccessible, unsafe or excluded from the booking;
  • (d) any pre-existing damage, permanent staining, excessive buildup or maintenance issue observed during the service; and
  • (e) any additional information reasonably relevant to the service.

10.3 Final Visual Inspection

Where reasonably practicable, the cleaner will conduct a final visual inspection of the areas included in the booking before leaving the property.

10.4 Checklist Not Conclusive

Completion of the checklist is part of Corleone Cleaning Co.'s quality-assurance process. However, it is not conclusive proof that every task was completed satisfactorily and does not prevent the Client from reporting a concern.

10.5 Tasks That Could Not Be Completed

If a booked task cannot be completed because of restricted access, excessive clutter, an unsafe condition, unavailable water or electricity, fragile or damaged surfaces, inadequate time caused by the condition of the property, or another circumstance outside our reasonable control, the cleaner will record this on the checklist where reasonably practicable.

10.6 Retaining the Checklist

The completed checklist may be retained by Corleone Cleaning Co. as part of the service record and may be used to:

  • (a) confirm the work performed;
  • (b) support quality-control reviews;
  • (c) investigate complaints or re-clean requests;
  • (d) improve future services; and
  • (e) maintain appropriate business and service records.

10.7 Providing a Copy to the Client

A copy or summary of the completed checklist may be provided to the Client electronically after the service.

10.8 Inspection With the Client

If the Client is present at the end of the service, they may be invited to inspect the completed areas with the cleaner. The Client is not required to conduct an immediate inspection, and signing or acknowledging the checklist does not waive any of the Client's rights.

10.9 Use of Photographs

Where photographs are reasonably required to document cleaning results, inaccessible areas, pre-existing damage or safety concerns, they will only be taken and used in accordance with the Client's consent and Corleone Cleaning Co.'s privacy practices. Photographs will not ordinarily include people, personal documents, computer screens, security information or other unnecessary personal information.
